You are a member of STAKE, a special division of Scotland Yard assigned to deal with the macabre and elements of the supernatural including banshees, werewolves, and other things that go bump in the night.
STAKE uses a modified version of the Fudge game system where every roll of the dice may lead to a new discovery or end the player’s mission at the snap of a finger. The game uses a guided adventure path format which allows up to 3 players to role play at one time without the need for a dedicated GM.
Solve puzzles, uncover ancient mysteries, and thwart evil at every turn. Put a stop to a vampire’s reign of terror and live to fight another day. It’s all part of the job as a member of STAKE!
STAKE is a series of gamebooks where you fight against the evil forces of darkness in Victorian London. It can be played with up to 3 players at once. Each book in the series contains one complete mission, all the rules to play, and a bonus mini-adventure! All you need are a set of 4 fudge (or six-sided) dice, pencils and an eraser.
