Labyrinth: The Lich Lord’s Lair

EndGame Gaming has released the first book of its brand new Savage Realms Multi-Quest gamebook series, Labyrinth: The Lich Lord’s Lair. Created by Brian Henson and TroyAnthony Schermer, with illustrations by Ilya Shkipin and graphic design by Brianna Schermer, Labyrinth: The Lich Lord’s Lair offers interactive fantasy adventuring in the world of Ataraxia.

‘A fool’s quest,’ they declared, shaking their heads in disbelief. ‘Reckless and foolhardy,’ said others, ‘and one that will surely claim your life.’ In any event, you have never been one to shy away from a challenge, and in this case, the lure of adventure and the promise of great treasure are just too tempting…

And so begins your perilous trek into the Lich Lord’s lair!

More than just your typical, classic dungeon-crawling gamebook, Labyrinth: The Lich Lord’s Lair is the gatekeeper for a much bigger and more epic storyline that is to come, setting the stage for the rest of the Legorian Kings Saga. That ongoing saga will unfold in greater detail in the second book, Escape from Darkmoor Keep, and in two further gamebooks to follow.

Not only can Labyrinth: The Lich Lord’s Lair be played as a solo quest, but it can also be modified to be a 4-player co-operative game, with each of the multiple storylines contained within culminating in the final, climactic confrontation with the Lich Lord, himself!

Unique to this Savage Realms adventure is that it has been intentionally designed and structured to be played cohesively with an ambitious tabletop version tentatively planned for future release. Also, EndGame Gaming has additional plans for future gamebooks, separate from the Legorian Kings Saga, include a survival horror, entitled What Dreams May Come, and an as yet untitled, apocalyptic Fallout-type adventure.

Labyrinth: The Lich Lord’s Lair is available in paperback from Amazon (US & UK).
