Embrace or resist the demonic influence around you in Demonheart: Hunters from Rolling Crown – a CRPG with an emphasis on player-driven conversations, character interactions and romancing your companions.
The young rogue Bright has a demon heart, which gives her supernatural powers. She is both blessed and cursed, for her heart makes her a target for the demonheart hunters. She must discover who is hunting her and turn the tables on them, while a certain half-demon is plotting to start the Apocalypse.
On her journey, Bright reunites with old allies and meets new allies and enemies. The trouble is, in this world it’s often difficult to tell which is which.
A fantasy adventure with numerous detailed environments and many NPCs to interact with, Demonheart: Hunters follows the same female protagonist from the prequel story of the Demonheart visual novel. However, although the two games are connected, it’s not necessary to have played the prequel to enjoy Demonheart: Hunters.
The game features deep lore, intrigue, betrayal and multiple endings, and incorporates old and new romances, plus the main character can be played as good, evil, tactful, rude and everything in-between. With 85,000 words of conversations with extensive branching dialogs, turn-based combat and dark humour, Demonheart: Hunters offers a fascinating world to explore, and an impressively rich storyline to become immersed in.
Demonheart: Hunters is available for Windows, Mac OS and Linux from itch.io and Steam, together with the optional Supporter’s Edition DLC, which adds a magical Sack of Extras to your character’s inventory, for use in-game as trinkets that you can give to your companions.
